Feeding the homeless, London

“…We went shopping and bought bags of sandwiches and cakes and set off to distribute our purchases to the tramps.

Our search took us from Camden Town, to Euston, to Waterloo and Victoria. Most of the tramps were quite young and in a pretty miserable state. I felt our gifts brightened their day; they were certainly all very hungry and received the food eagerly.

Giving to these people made me aware of how much we all depend on each other and how, beneath our polished exteriors, we are all really the same”.
